Bonjour mes amis,
Feeding your wedding vendors, especially the ones that will be working all day is a no-brainer. It is also a way to show you are a human being and appreciate your vendors, and plus some venues do not allow outside food. Everyone is there to provide an excellent service, so feed them to avoid crankiness and have a top notch wedding where everyone is happy. But it is now another unforeseen expense?
Here’s what to do
1. Check the contract to make sure you are not required to serve the same meal that your guests will receive.
2. You could work out a meal plan with the caterer or serve a buffet style of less expensive, but equally hearty, meal for them instead. That could include sandwiches, salads, something and something sweet with lots of bottled water.
3. Let your caterer know a few days before the wedding how many vendors (including assistants) you need to feed, and what to serve them (Usually some caterers gives you half off vendors meal).
Happy Planning!!!!!
