You get dressed, for a romantic date night with your special someone. You are amazed by the five star restaurant he took you to, you are having amazing conversations while savoring your food. The set up is all perfect, surrounded by candlelight, great music, great atmosphere. Your favorite classic song comes on, and before you can say anything he reaches out for your hands and asked you to dance. Having a night to remember, he whispers how perfect you are for him. In a blank of an eye, down on one knee, with a tiny blue Tiffany box, little did you know that the next question that came out of his mouth “Would you marry me?” would change your life forever.

I do not want to sound biased, because yes I am a wedding planner, and no I am not the right wedding planner for everyone, but I will give you a few reasons why you should hire one.

4) Your venue coordinator is not your wedding planner- When you visit a venue, they will almost always tell you that they have a “wedding planner” on staff. Let me be clear to you, they are not here to make sure all the details of your wedding are going smooth. They will not accompany you to your ceremony location and help you go down the aisle. Their main focus will always be the venue first, not you!
