Bonjour mes amis,
Today, meet Sumna and Ricky!

They chose to have a Destination Indian Wedding, and since it is officially their wedding week, I wanted to share their love story. We have been working together since the beginning of this year and to have witnessed their love story, and getting to know them as a couple, is why I love what I do. As you already know what time it is, Sit back, grab a glass of champagne, and let’s read their love story.
Where did you two meet?
We worked together at the same hospital in the same unit. He was a night shift nurse and I was a day shift nurse.
Tell us about the proposal?
He flew in his mom, brother, and nephew and had his mom and my mom take me out to get my nails done. The plan was for everyone to come back to our place and then from there go to dinner that evening. Well, when my mom his mom my sister and I all got home I opened the door and there he was on one knee in our hallways with rose petals and candles everywhere asking me to marry him.
What do you love/admire about each other?
His patience and how loving and caring he is. I think we both value relationships and we both value working on problems that may occur instead of calling something quits.
What are your wedding plans?
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!!

Where do you plan on honeymooning?
We arent sure yet. We are staying back a few days after the wedding in DR just to destress so that can be considered part of our honeymoon however we do plan on having one sometime next year.
What are you most excited about this weekend?
Having all my loved ones around me as I marry the love of my life!! They’ve all known how hard it has been for me to find love and how bad I’ve always wanted to find it so finding the one for me who I thought at one point would be impossible is a miracle and I’m glad I can share that with my loved ones in a tropical nice destination!
How do you feel the planning process has helped you prepare for what’s coming?
It definitely helped me! I don’t think I could’ve done this without a wedding planner! Especially since I started a new job and a new role in the middle of all the planning so I’m so thankful I have Georgette to help guide me through everything.

I would like to say CONGRATS! and send a special thank you to Sumna and Ricky for sharing their love story with us. Can’t wait to see it all come together, and witness their love!
