Bonjour mes amis,
We designed and executed a shoot a few months ago, and we wanted to share some of the photos with you. The shoot was created to inspire the modern bride wanting to look and feel like a true princess on their wedding day, using unexpected elements used in the baroque/rococo era, as we created something extravagant. Baroque was often thought of as a period of artistic style using exaggerated motion and details to produce drama.
We wanted to reflect the opulent baroque era, portraying royalty, its patterns and architecture. We wanted to use as many luxurious details that have a dynamic sense of movement, bold play of volume, heavy detail, and gold ornamentation. Lots of damask details were also used in the gorgeous St Petersburg venue, Rococo.
