Today’s vendor spotlight series introduces Andi, owner of Andi Diamond Photography.
In the 10 years that Andi has been in business, her talent and passion have been the hallmark, in her success as a Tampa Bay Photographer. I’ve had the opportunity to work with Andi personally when she produced my latest headshots. She is amazing, like seriously go check them out! Not only was she great at giving directions but she made me feel and look great in front of the camera. Within the first few minutes, I was giving her my best angles and I was certain she truly understood my vision.
We here at Pea To Tree events are absolutely honored to interview the woman behind some of Tampa Bay’s Best wedding photographs.
Tell us about you and/or your company:
Andi Diamond Photography has been photographing weddings throughout Tampa Bay for almost ten years. My love for people and creating meaningful relationships with our couples really drive my passion for what I do as a wedding photographer. I create truly authentic images because of real relationships with our couples. I want to be so much more than your wedding photographer; I want to be your confidant, trusted advisor, and friend as you plan your wedding day. I want you to laugh, be your true self as individuals and as a couple and feel extremely comfortable with me as your wedding photographer.
Andi Diamond Photography incorporates a unique style to create classic, yet modern and timeless images. Visit us at www.andidiamond.com or call her studio at 813-503-5056 to set up your complimentary consultation. Make sure to wear stretchy pants because odds are, I will feed you cake. 🙂
WHO ARE YOUR IDEAL COUPLES?
My couples value photography as fine art and tend to put the importance of wedding photography extremely high on their bucket list. They are movers and shakers, talented and intelligent men and women who are often very involved in their community, in charity, and adored by their friends and family. They love to have a good time, love to laugh (frequently at me- and I am OK with that), and appreciate hard work (in themselves and others). Basically, my clients are people you want to be friends with, people you enjoy spending time with, people who are interesting and share a love of getting to know others. I also love to photograph fellow UF alumni, though that is not a deal breaker. 🙂
What price range should a client expect to pay for your services?
Most of my clients invest anywhere from $4,000-$6,000 on their wedding photography.
What is one piece of advice that you like to give couples?
While it is extremely important to make sure your wedding photographer has the technical skills to capture your wedding (ex- expert lighting and composition knowledge, flattering body positions, etc), it is also critical that you feel extremely comfortable with him/her as a person and truly enjoy being around him/her. She/he will be with you more on your wedding day than your fiancé will, so your comfort level is very critical.
What message would you like to get out there?
Getting educated about the wedding service you are investing in is invaluable. While there is a trend right now of many wedding photographer claiming to be “natural light only”, it is critical on your wedding day that your photographer has the skill set to light ANY type of environmental condition. Yes, natural light is gorgeous when captured properly….and so is a dark ballroom, a stunning Florida sunset, an overcast or rainy wedding day when the proper lighting tools are utilized. Make sure your Tampa wedding photographer is skilled, confident, and comfortable in on-camera and off-camera flash, video lights, and reflectors. When used correctly, these tools will extremely enhance the visual look and aesthetics of your imagery.
How would you describe your company’s style?
I like to say our style is creatively coached. I know all of my couples (esp my brides) want to look and feel like super-models on their wedding day; it is my job to ensure the most flattering posing and positions while making sure the movements feel authentic and natural so I am capturing who you really are as a couple.
How far in advance should clients book your services?
Most couples secure us as their wedding photographer anywhere from 8 months- 12 months prior to their wedding.
